Getting Ready...

I'm getting so excited about this trip. For me, traveling has never been a consideration. I think it has simply been fear of the unknown. Now, here I am, heading off to Belize and I can't wait! Yesterday we had a packing meeting. We each brought an empty suitcase and filled it with Medical Supplies that will be used on our trip. Each day we will travel to a different village around Belize and meet with people who need medical attention. I will have the privilege of working with children who are waiting to meet with the Doctors. We will keep them entertained. I have the chance to envelope myself in a whole new culture. How often do people get to do that? I know this will be a life changing experience for me.

I will have access to the internet while I'm away, so check here for updates. Feel free to leave me messages so I don't get too homesick!

OK, my friend, I will be praying for you every day that God will give you strength and wisdom for the situation where you are serving. I have never been on an international missions trip but have travelled internationally in hard situations and you learn a lot about yourself and gain all kinds of perspectives on life in America and it just changes you as I know everyone always says. I don't know what God has in mind for you to learn but I am praying that you "listen real good" to what He will be teaching you, all the while knowing He is holding you tight and keeping you safe.

With his love and mine--

Joni

Hi Sissa Luv,
I am so excited to follow along with you on your journey and see it thru your eyes and your camera lens.
I will pray for you that God reveals something phenomenal to you each and everyday. I will also ask that upon your return he does not allow any of us around you to burst your bubble or tear you down from the high that he will have put you on. We need to encourage you to stay up there for a very long time because that is where he needs you to be in order to reveal the magic he will have performed in your life and others.
Be Safe, Be Happy, Be Enveloped in his Beauty amongst the Grime and Be taken a Big Honken' Fly Swatter cuz' your going to need to be smackin' at some big buzzy crawly things I'm sure.

Blessings & Love, Cheryl

Sweet baby chile, I'm so glad and so proud to know you're there and serving your Master in this way. I'm in prayer constantly for all of you, but especially you, and that God's Master Plan will be revealed to you as you experience Him in a whole new way there. What a wonderful chance of a lifetime to be with such giving people and to be able to share in all of it. God bless you in every way. Can't wait to hear about every little experience and all the great people you will meet.
